Controller

The website www.yellowtaxibratislava.sk is operated by DOPLNIŤ obchodné meno, sídlo, IČO, which is also the controller of personal data. Contact: info@taxiyellow.sk, +421 2 17 699.

What data we process

For a taxi booking: name, email, phone number, pick-up and destination address, date, time and your message. For the contact form: full name, phone, email and message. The sender’s IP address is also recorded to prevent abuse.

Purpose and legal basis

We use the data only to handle your booking or reply to your message (performance of a contract and pre-contractual steps, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to protect the form against spam (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention

Bookings and messages are kept in our mailbox for no longer than 24 months unless the law requires a longer period (e.g. accounting documents).

Recipients

Data is transferred encrypted via the hosting provider’s mail server. To protect the form we use Google reCAPTCHA and to show the map Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited). We do not sell your data or use it for marketing.

Map, route, location and weather

The route planner uses map tiles from OpenStreetMap, address search by Photon (komoot) and routing by OSRM (FOSSGIS e.V.); the weather at the top of the page is measured by the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ – our server downloads the data, your browser does not contact SHMÚ), with cloud cover from Open-Meteo, which is also used as a fallback. When used, your browser sends these services your IP address and the addresses you enter, but not your name or contact details. Your location is only requested after you click “My location”, it is used solely to fill in the address and is not stored.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object. Send your request to info@taxiyellow.sk. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (dataprotection.gov.sk).
